Turns out your grandmother was right! Fish oil is good for your heart, your brain, and your muscles.

Dr. Michael Turner is an integrative physician in Washington state with a passion for natural health measures. He writes Health & Wellness with Dr. Turnerand is sharing a series of articles on “Power Supplements” with us. Today, Dr. Turner looks at another supplement featured on FLCCC protocols:

The story of Omega-3 fatty acids as a health supplement dates to at least the 1950s, when cod liver oil was found to be effective in treating ailments like eczema and arthritis. (Turns out Grandma was right when she tried to bribe you to swallow the stuff… Respect!)

In the 1980s, scientists reported that Eskimos who ate a fish-rich diet enjoyed better cardiac health than their counterparts who consumed mainland foods.

Fish oil is rich in two essential fatty acids that have profound health-promoting effects: EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid). They are present in the cell membranes of all cells but are especially concentrated in the brain, heart, and testes.

Here are just 6 reasons to love fish oil:

1. It prevents sudden cardiac death

HELLO!!… Anyone been hearing about “sudden cardiac death” lately?

I remember discovering this way back during my medical school days at Harvard, when one of the faculty published this review article.

Prior to his research, there was already a well-established association between fatty fish consumption and a reduction in fatal heart attacks, but the reason was not precisely understood. His contribution to the science was to discover how: fatty acids from n-3 fish oils are stored in the cell membranes of heart cells and act to stabilize them from aberrant discharges.

Mmmm… Okay… Sign me up.

2. It has other significant cardiac benefits

Fish oil also helps reduce the development of atherosclerosis (also known as “hardening of the arteries”), plus it lowers triglyceride levels, and lowers blood pressure. (Read more here and here).

Extra credit: My other all-time favorite cardiovascular supplement is Nattokinase, which thins the blood, dissolves clots, reverses atherosclerosis, lowers blood pressure, and improves cholesterol levels.

3. Fish oil has profound anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects

Just like our good friend NAC, fish oil shows notable anti-inflammatory properties (it inhibits COX, for you health nerds) and antioxidant functions (it stimulates NRF 2 pathways, boosts Superoxide Dismutase and Catalase activity, reduces F2 isoprostanes). Hence, we discover benefits for…

  • Arthritis: This study in older and overweight individuals showed a 42% reduction in pain after four months.
  • Autoimmune problems: such as rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, lupus erythematosus, and multiple sclerosis (read more here).

4. It’s amazing for your brain

Something called Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) strengthens neural connections in areas critical to learning and memory. Think of it like “Miracle-Gro” for the brain.

Guess what? DHA supplementation increases BDNF levels. It also promotes the growth of new neurons. Additionally, Omega-3s benefit the brain thanks to their aforementioned anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects.

Bonus: As a result, they hold promise for conditions like Alzheimer’s (they also stimulate the glymphatic system to clear beta Amyloid), depressionschizophrenia, and traumatic brain injury (including concussion). (Read more here and here.)

Bonus Bonus: If you would like a further exploration of BDNF and other brain health concepts, we did this podcast series and created this brain health curriculum.

5. It boosts energy by optimizing mitochondrial health

Does the phrase “mitochondrial biogenesis” mean anything to you? No? Well, to be honest, it makes my heart go pitter-pat because I understand what is behind that concept – the creation of new mitochondria within our cells. More mitochondria = more energy production = improved function of any given organ.

Mitochondrial function is so important to human health that there is even a well-established concept called “the mitochondrial theory of aging,” which considers loss of mitochondrial number and function as a central pillar in the aging process.

It turns out that Omega-3 fatty acids stimulate mitochondrial biogenesis and enhance mitochondrial efficiency (read here).

6. Strength and muscle gains

Several years ago, my interest was piqued when I read of a nationally known strength coach who insisted his clients supplement with fish oil. Now I know why: Omega 3s directly enhance muscle protein synthesis, while simultaneously decreasing protein breakdown (read here). This effect is so striking that even elderly people, non-athletes, and patients with cancer have experienced benefits.

Wow! So, there you have it… Somebody pass the salmon, please.

We wouldn’t count on it. But our fearless leader, Dr. Pierre Kory, is more optimistic.

Coronavirus has no race.

The Biden administration has announced it will finally end the COVID-19 public health emergency — in May! The order has been renewed every 90 days since January 2020, even as the disease waned and life in most places returned to normal. But the federal government needs more time to unwind the mess it created.

And so, for another four months, it will be business as usual for pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, pharmacies, and everyone else gaming the health system to keep the emergency funds rolling in.

When the sun finally does set on this dark chapter of American history, will there be an honest accounting of the mistakes made? We wouldn’t count on it. But our fearless leader, Dr. Pierre Kory, is more optimistic.

Writing in FoxNews, Dr. Kory lays out five mistakes that Jeff Zients, Biden’s newly installed White House Chief of Staff and coordinator of his disastrous coronavirus response, should admit to in order to rebuild trust with the public. Here are some highlights from the op-ed:

First, admit promises about experimental mRNA vaccines fell short. As Americans were learning how to pronounce “omicron” in December 2021, Zients delivered a dire warning from the White House briefing room…Since Zients’ declaration, the percentage of COVID fatalities among the vaccinated in the U.S. has steadily climbed…In a more recent report from the health department of New South Wales, Australia, which covered the last two weeks of December 2022, of the 1,415 hospitalized patients with known vaccination status, none were unvaccinated…

Second, acknowledge that re-purposed generic drugs should play a role in the ongoing fight against COVID… Numerous meta-analyses along with firsthand reports from clinicians around the world have found that safe, affordable medicines like ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, and fluvoxamine (among others) reduce COVID hospitalizations and deaths…

red and white stop sign

Third, scrap plans for annual COVID-19 vaccinations… Setting aside questions about efficacy, shocking new video footage showed a Pfizer executive discussing his company’s plans to mutate future strains of COVID that would require a new vaccine… Pfizer can deny the claims in the video all they want, but the numbers don’t lie. Analysts expect the company’s 2023 revenue to drop 26% as demand for the vaccine wanes.

Fourth, immediately remove all pandemic mandates… Healthcare workers who were fired for exercising medical freedom should be re-hired, and military service members who lost recruitment bonuses and salary should be made whole.

Finally, concede that vaccine injuries are real, and call off the merchants of doubt… I care for many people battling vaccine injuries, like Angelia Desselle. No one should be forced to endure the suffering she and so many others have gone through, only to become targets of media derision…

The House Republican majority has oversight responsibilities and subpoena authority. The Committee on Energy and Commerce has scheduled its first hearing for early February. If the executive branch is unwilling to admit past mistakes, Congress should force its hand.

Jenna McCarthy asks why people believe what they believe, and why many people blindly follow so-called ‘experts’ without question.

I’ve been called an “anti-vaxxer” and a “conspiracy theorist“ — and to be honest, I don’t mind either label. In fact, I love it when people ask me why running naked through Times Square carrying a live porcupine would be preferable to rolling up my sleeve for the experimental hokey pokey.

I’m so glad you asked,” I say. “Pull up a chair.”

I start by diving into Pfizer’s dirty, habitually criminal past, and share how the company paid the largest healthcare fraud settlement in the history of the United States Justice Department, a criminal fine of over $2 billion, for bribing doctors, engaging in illegal marketing, and suppressing adverse trial results.

Next, I merrily serve up a historical charcuterie board of governmental lies, crimes, and transgressions, and eagerly detail some of the tens of thousands of reported COVID “vaccine” side effects.

Did you know, I ask, that the World Health Organization’s own VigiAccess database currently houses 4,786,256 adverse event reports ranging from blurred vision [31,504] to sudden death [2,182], sudden cardiac death [325], regular cardiac death [166], brain death [184], and plain old generic death-death [22,832]?

Then I ask the FFD [an acronym I just made up for folks who feel differently] “Why do you believe what you believe?” Instead of an evidence-based argumentthe best I usually get is some version of “I trust my doctor/the experts.”

If the conversation happens on social media, this stance is most often accompanied by a split-screen viral meme; on one side, a spiffy-looking dude in a white coat captioned, “8 years of medical school plus 7 years of residency;” on the other side, a middle-aged lady perched on the toilet with iPhone in hand captioned, “Does her own research.”

Does having MD after your name make you infallible? (Never mind that medical errors lead to more than 250,000 deaths a year in the US alone). Does reading volumes of medical studies, seeking out alternative, unbiased news sources, questioning censorship and the suppression/demonization of effective treatments, championing natural immunity, and connecting a few thousand neon flashing dots make you an ignorant poser?

Let me share an actual, copied-and-pasted message I received on social media after sharing another story of an après-vax “sudden death”:

“Some people have severe allergic reactions to the egg-based serum that make up most vaccination suspensions,” I’ll-call-her-Carol wrote definitively. “Worldwide, literlly [sic] billions of Covid vaccines have been given and they have no higher incidences of issues than any other vaccine.”

I don’t know anything about I’ll-call-her-Carol, other than she claims to work “in Urgent Care,” (she could man the coffee cart in the parking lot for all I know) and “has discussed this many times with physicians.” (So, a step above Googling from the throne, apparently.)

“With all due respect,” I replied. “What planet do you live on?”

I followed this sincere question with a link to historical VAERS data — which tracks adverse reactions to all vaccines — showing the massive, exponential, unprecedented spike after the C-19 vax rollout.

“Okay, that’s fair,” I’ll-call-her-Carol conceded, before oxymoronically chiming: “But if people were dying and having other physical issues, it would be publicized from all corners of the world.” (Emphasis mine.)

This was her actual argument. That the media — the same one that is consistently ‘brought to you by Pfizer’ and whose execs have been caught on camera and outed by whistleblowers for smearing effective COVID treatments and pushing the “safe and effective” agenda at all costs — would eagerly broadcast a nonstop parade of vaccine failures if, in fact, it existed. The mainstream media can’t be corrupt, you see, or we’d have heard about it in the news.

You know how when you were a kid and you simply accepted what your parents told you as fact beyond reproach? For nearly three decades I believed that if I swallowed chewing gum, I’d be looking at seven long years of digestion ahead of me. Not six-and-a-half; never eight. (Also sitting too close to the TV would make me go blind, and if I didn’t wait 30 minutes after eating to get back into the pool, I’d sink like a hippo in cement pants.)

But then we grow up. We gain wisdom, experience, and discernment. We realize half the time our parents were simply repeating things they’d heard, and the other half they were just winging it. They knew we counted on them to sound confident and authoritative, so they did — even when they were just making stuff up.

Certainly, some people will continue to parrot the platitudes they learned from their parents without ever questioning them. They’ll die believing you can get warts from touching a toad and that if someone smacks you in the back of the head as you cross your eyes, they might stick that way forever.

For the rest of us, a light bulb eventually goes off. Maybe we see someone eating in the pool and not sinking immediately to its bottom. Perhaps an elderly aunt confesses she’s been cheerfully cracking her knuckles for a century and doesn’t have an arthritic bone in her body. Someone we know might tragically be injured or killed by a “safe and effective” medication. We realize that just because someone says it — even if that someone is a parent, a doctor, or a “trusted” public official — doesn’t make it true.

The CDC, FDA, and our corrupt administration have insisted over and over that the jabs are both safe and effective. Mountains of evidence — and scores of now-maligned experts — have proven they are neither. Only one of these two sides has a vested (read: massive financial and political) interest in what you choose to believe. Call me crazy, but I’m going with the group that has nothing to gain and everything to lose.

Sage Hana opens up Substack to a guest post from a “35-year veteran OB/GYN” who agrees that “the healthcare community was targeted for the experimental injections first.”

“One of the things that has been remarkable and tragic with this Operation is how quickly the health care community tanked into every aspect of the narrative, seemingly forgetting all that they had heretofore known to be true.

The power of incentive structures and indoctrination is stunning.”

The FLCCC offers some potentially protective interventions that are common sense, safe and pragmatic.

Many vaccinated people are now wondering whether they have a ticking time bomb inside them, given the stories of unexpected and sudden cardiac arrest that seem to pile up daily.

Dr. Pierre Kory, Chief Medical Officer of the FLCCC, and Dr. Paul Marik, Chief Scientific Officer, recently made updates to I-RECOVER: Post Vaccine Syndrome to address these concerns.

First, it is important to understand that not everyone who gets a COVID-19 vaccine will react in the same way. Dr. Kory describes three distinct groups:

“There are people who come to my practice who are vaccine-injured,” he says, “and they present with a constellation of symptoms.” Dr. Kory uses several strategies to try to help these patients, depending on their main complaints and the severity of their symptoms.

A second category of patients is experiencing a single complication caused by the vaccine rather than a myriad of symptoms. Treatments are also available for these patients and are often quite successful.

“Then you have people who have been vaccinated and are asymptomatic,” Dr. Kory goes on to explain. “They don’t have any acute or chronic symptoms.” These are often the people who are most concerned about whether they have a potential ‘ticking time bomb’.

The four- to six-month window

For these people, there is some good news depending on the date of their last injection. If your last vaccination or booster was more than five or six months ago and you’ve experienced no adverse symptoms, you are likely in the clear.

“We used to say most people who are vaccine injured have symptoms within days to weeks,” says Dr. Marik, “so if you’re beyond that we used to say you’ve dodged a bullet and you’re OK. But it seems like there are people who are otherwise healthy, who have no signs and symptoms of vaccine injury, and who within this window of four to six months die suddenly from an acute cardiac event.”

There are two peak windows when deaths that may be linked to vaccination seem to occur. “They happen either within a few days, which we think is acute heart inflammation causing myocarditis and then a fatal arrhythmia,” says Dr. Kory. “And then there are those that die around five months later.”

“If you are well after five months out, or a year out, with no symptoms, no problems, I really do want to reassure you that I think you’re okay.”

Dr. Kory and Dr. Marik, along with other colleagues of theirs, think the deaths that happen around the five-month peak are related to massive fibrin clots.

“If you are well after five months out, or a year out, with no symptoms, no problems, I really do want to reassure you that I think you’re okay,” Dr. Kory says, noting that many people have had no reaction to the vaccines.

If you were vaccinated or boosted within the past five months and are now worried because of the emerging evidence and data showing excess mortality and sudden deaths, the FLCCC doctors have made some suggestions based on their understanding of the processes that may be leading to the sudden cardiac events. They are, however, cautious because there has been no science or research effort put into understanding the causes of vaccine injury since major public health institutions continue to insist the vaccines are safe and effective and that side effects are rare and temporary.

“Knowing what we know of the science, of the consequences of these vaccines, and of the time distribution of these major events, we think it’s prudent to be on anti-platelets (aspirin) and fibrinolytics (nattokinase, lumbrokinase) in the hopes that somehow this mitigates or interrupts the development of these life-ending clots at five months out,” Dr. Kory advises.

Ideally, Dr. Marik says that asymptomatic patients who are in this time frame post-vaccination would be risk stratified, and those with moderate to high risk started on preventative measures. Unfortunately, since the risk of sudden death post-vaccine has not been generally recognized and has therefore not been studied, there is no data to allow for risk stratification.

In the absence of a risk-stratified approach, patients may wish to discuss the following interventions with a trusted healthcare provider:

  • Daily low-dose aspirin (81 mg)
  • Nattokinase (100-200 mg twice daily) (in those with low risk of bleeding)
  • Omega-3 fatty acids (2-4 g daily)
  • Resveratrol or flavonoid combination supplement
  • Diet modulation (Low-carb, high-fat diet, low in omega-6 vegetable oils, avoiding processed foods)

In addition, since many deaths seem to occur during physical activity (think about the rash of sudden deaths in soccer players), vigorous physical activity (especially for younger people) should be avoided for at least 3 weeks following vaccination or boosting.

“Can we promise this will mitigate your risk? No. Do we think it’s going to save your life? No,” says Dr. Kory. “But these are potential protective interventions that are common sense, safe, pragmatic things you can do in the hopes of preventing such life-threatening events.”

Writing in Epoch Times, Dr. Pierre Kory urges the incoming Republican Congress to challenge ineffective policies and push for early treatment strategies that can control COVID.

With COVID-19 cases rising again, public health leaders are returning to the same policies that have failed for the past two years. Major cities are reimposing mask mandates, and officials in Washington officials keep relentlessly endorsing boosters. The White House Covid Response Coordinator just said, “We know we can prevent nearly every death from COVID if people get their updated vaccines and people get treated.” Now, is that misinformation or disinformation? It’s hard to keep track at this point.

Writing in Epoch Times, Dr. Pierre Kory urges the incoming Republican Congress to challenge these ineffective policies and push for early treatment strategies that can control COVID. It’s going to take strong leadership and a concerted effort among lawmakers to put the evidence on ivermectin and other safe, affordable alternatives into practice.

Remember, expensive new vaccines and treatments are available only under FDA’s Emergency Use Authorization, which requires that there are no FDA-approved alternatives. Pharma companies have staked hundreds of billions of dollars on this speedy pathway to market (and government funding). They will pull out all the stops to prevent FDA from ever approving a cheap alternative so they can keep pumping out new products. Dr. Kory explains:

Our government’s support for vaccines knows no bounds, best evidenced by the unanimous approval of the COVID vaccine for toddlers while numerous countries around the world have specifically recommended against it.

The Food and Drug Administration has amended its EUA for Pfizer’s and Moderna’s updated, bivalent COVID-19 vaccines, allowing children as young as 6 months old to receive a booster. At this point, we’ve all seen the flashy commercials pushing their vaccines and treatments, which at no point mention possible side effects or EUA. Because of official government sanctioning, these companies received free advertising with none of the drawbacks or accountability for liabilities.

It shouldn’t be this way. As House Republicans plan to take power in January, they are saying the right things about shining a light on the Biden-Fauci COVID strategy. Pandemic-instituted proxy voting for members is on the chopping block. The origins of COVID are poised to play a leading role in forthcoming investigations.

These are positive steps, but more must be done. The American public deserves answers about why promising alternatives like ivermectin were suppressed. Who was making these decisions and what steps can be taken to prevent it from ever happening again? COVID will not be the last public health emergency, and we must learn from the mistakes of the past to better prepare for the future.

Further, it’s clear the process for studying and recommending repurposed drugs needs major reform and overhaul. It’s long past time for an independent body free from the pressures of politics to oversee this process and conduct impartial research on an ongoing basis.

The new Congress was elected to challenge failed policies and help restore normalcy in our country. A crucial first step is holding those responsible for destructive public health measures accountable. But after that, we need leaders in Washington to work with physicians, scientists, and a diverse group of public health practitioners to implement a comprehensive strategy to control COVID – and avoid making the same mistakes in the future.

The post 8 reasons to love N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) appeared first on FLCCC | Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance.

This power supplement is great for the brain, fights inflammation, and has anti-cancer properties.

Dr. Michael Turner is an integrative physician in Washington state with a passion for natural health measures. In the first of a series of articles on “Power Supplements,” Dr. Turner looks at one of the supplements featured on FLCCC protocols:

Truly a heavy-hitter, N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) has proven itself for decades and helped save countless lives during this pandemic (at the same time that the FDA was trying to ban its distribution). Besides that, it has potent anti-cancer properties, tremendous antioxidant and anti-inflammatory roles, and enormous benefits for the brain.

Here are some reasons to love NAC:

1. Strengthens your immune system, especially in the lungs. NAC gets converted to glutathione, which is one of the two most important antioxidant systems in your body (more on that later). Glutathione is necessary in high quantities for the white blood cells in your lungs to mount an effective immune response — whether to COVID-19, influenza, RSV, bacterial pneumonia, or whatever.

Bonus: NAC also thins mucus.  When patients mention problems with thick phlegm, my go-to home remedies are NAC and Mucinex.

2. COVID prevention and treatment. NAC has direct antiviral activity against SARS-COV-2 and decreases cytokine storm. Read more here or watch this video.

3. Binds spike protein. Well, well, well — I have to say that if this were the only thing NAC did, it would still be at the top of my favorites list. Hopefully, we all know by now how nasty the COVID spike protein is, and we understand that the mRNA vaccines cause your body to produce it in large quantities. NAC directly binds to, and thus inactivates, spike protein.

Bonus: Other substances that bind to spike protein are Vitamin C, quercetin, ivermectin, and certain strains of CBD oil.

4. Potent anti-cancer properties. NAC works against cancer via multiple mechanisms. Who knew?

5. Boosts energy output and mitochondrial function. The mitochondria are the parts of your cells dedicated to energy production: the healthier they are, the better every organ system in your body will function (especially energy-intensive organs like your brain and kidneys).

Bonus: Because it boosts energy output throughout the body, it has a significant role in Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Read more here.

6. Antioxidant. You have two main intracellular antioxidant molecules: Superoxide Dismutase and Glutathione. NAC undergoes a chemical reaction to regenerate glutathione; besides that, it has direct antioxidant properties on its own.

Bonus: Because it regenerates glutathione in the liver, it has a vital role in supporting detoxification (in fact, NAC is the remedy given in hospitals for liver toxicity due to Tylenol overdose).

7. Anti-inflammatory. But wait, there’s more!…. It also has potent anti-inflammatory actions (by suppressing genes like NF-kB and COX that control the inflammatory process).

Bonus: Thus, it helps with inflammatory conditions like autoimmune problems or osteoarthritis.

8. Great for the brain. NAC freely crosses the blood-brain barrier, thus bringing its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects to the most vital tissues of all. It also boosts dopamine activity.

Bonus: As a result, it has been proven to be beneficial in conditions such as brain fog, brain injury, ALS, and autism. And psychiatrists have used it for years to treat problems like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). (In-depth summary paper here.)

Whew! I trust you can see why I consider this a “power supplement.”
Best if taken on an empty stomach, typical dosing for NAC is as follows:

A few examples of how FLCCC shed much-needed light on medical malfeasance and corruption in 2022.

Our freedoms and rights have been severely compromised and trampled for the past 2 ½ years. From a medical perspective, restrictive hospital protocols, the denial of early treatment, the inability to travel freely, coerced medical interventions, and the muzzling of free-thinking doctors have led to a dark time for those who believe in the Hippocratic Oath.

The doctors and staff at FLCCC are working every day to be a light in the darkness, by promoting good health and protecting medical freedom and bodily autonomy. Here are just a few examples of how we have ‘shone a light’ in this area over the past year:

Speaking Up In Public

  • In January, Dr. Kory and Dr. Marik addressed thousands of people from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in our nation’s capital to rally support for the war against repurposed drugs and call for an end to government interference in the sacred doctor-patient relationship.

  • A few months later they brought the same messages to a packed and energized crowd in downtown Los Angeles at the west coast “Defeat the Mandates” rally.

  • The doctors joined other renowned experts for a roundtable discussion in the Senate building convened by Senator Ron Johnson, which has now been viewed over 4.5 million times.
  • The doctors have also participated in hundreds of media interviews, reaching close to 500 million viewers in more than 18 countries. They have published op-eds, sat for podcasts, attended conferences and events, and done as much as they can to engage and educate the public.

Calling for Change

  • Both Dr. Marik and Dr. Kory joined fellow doctors in Tennessee to advocate on behalf of repurposed drugs, leading to the passage of a bill allowing ivermectin to be prescribed over the counter, by standing order.
  • Late in 2021, New York’s Attorney General sent out a series of stern warning letters telling physicians listed in the FLCCC directory to “cease and desist” from prescribing ivermectin to patients in New York. Between January and March 2022, FLCCC’s lawyer exchanged a spirited series of letters with the Attorney General’s office, which culminated in the Attorney General’s office stating:

“The Bureau declines to intervene in the patient/provider relationship. We are pleased that you are in agreement that prevention and treatment decisions are best made after individual patient/provider discussions.”

We took this as a win for our side.

  • One battle that is still ongoing is with the State of California over its recent law that enables the state to strip healthcare professionals of their medical licenses if they veer from preferred party lines. When FLCCC first heard about the bill, we sent state legislators a letter expressing our concern. We published several opinion pieces and spoke to the media and will continue to support efforts to push back against this dangerous legislation.

“Medical knowledge is always evolving. No one has a monopoly on good ideas. Our leaders in government should encourage doctors to pursue new ideas and innovate, not threaten to end their careers for disagreeing.” – Pierre Kory

  • Dr. Marik is also one of three plaintiffs in Apter v. HHS, a high-profile lawsuit that seeks to hold the Food & Drug Administration (FDA) accountable for its misleading statements against ivermectin and its interference with physicians’ ability to treat COVID-19. Although the FDA’s advice to not use ivermectin to treat COVID was widely used to discredit the treatment and prevent patients from accessing the medication, and even though internally the FDA celebrated a viral tweet that told people to “Stop it y’all”, at a November hearing in the lawsuit the government’s defense attorney was forced to backtrack, stating, “The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations… They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin.”

Offering Education and Support For Patients and Providers

With the passage of AB2098 in California and the continued censorship and cancellation of doctors around the world, there is still so much more to be done. Until every state recognizes the inherent freedom and rights of its citizens (both patients and doctors alike), history is doomed to repeat itself. We need your support now more than ever, to enable us to continue this all-important work.

Dr. Anthony Fauci’s final press conference may have exploded into a heated back-and-forth over the origins of COVID-19, but there are far more pressing questions that remain unaddressed. The incoming House Republican majority would be wise to follow through on their promises to hold hearings to shed light on some of Fauci’s biggest whoppers.

Writing in FoxNews, Dr. Kory highlights three areas policymakers should focus on, starting with the thin data on masking.

During his final press conference, Fauci stressed the importance of facial accessories by cracking a joke about “looking terrific.” Early in the pandemic, he was singing a different tune, acknowledging in private emails, “the typical mask you buy at a drug store is not really effective at keeping out a virus.”

Less than a year later, Fauci was calling double masking “common sense.” Even last week while sitting for a deposition brought by the attorneys general of Missouri and Louisiana, Fauci implored a court reporter to don a mask after she sneezed – despite the fact he was not able to name a single study supporting their use. This, in November 2022, more than two months after President Biden declared the pandemic “over.”

The second thing Dr. Kory advises policymakers to focus on is Fauci’s flip-flopping on vaccines — and his refusal to recommend repurposed medicines.

In December 2020, Fauci marveled at the purported 90 percent efficacy rate of the Pfizer vaccine, heralding the development as “just extraordinary.” As the pandemic wore on and “breakthrough cases” became the new norm, Fauci shifted to, “even if a vaccine fails to protect against infection, it often protects against serious disease.” In May 2021, he referred to vaccinated people as a “dead end to the virus.”

Today, as Fauci continues his push for more and more boosters unabated, even the New York Times is publishing stories carrying headlines such as, “Will Covid Boosters Prevent Another Wave? Scientists Aren’t So Sure.” Vaccinated Americans accounted for a majority of CoVID deaths for the first time in AugustFauci denigrated ivermectin, a readily available over-the-counter drug that has proven effective as a COVID treatment, despite his and the media’s constant citing of less than 5 of the 93 controlled trials in order to claim that ivermectin is ineffective.

The sad truth is that Fauci undermined alternatives to expensive new vaccines and treatments to protect pharma companies’ ability to secure quick approvals. FDA Emergency Use Authorization can only be granted if no alternatives exist — so Fauci helped ensure they were all discredited.

And finally, Dr. Kory encourages policymakers to get to the bottom of Fauci’s support for China’s draconian lockdown measures.

The American public deserves to know exactly which elements Fauci borrowed from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) playbook. In 2020, Fauci described himself as “very impressed” with how the “Chinese were handling the isolation.” Before long, “social distancing” became a way of life here in America. So too were mandated testing and periods of isolation.

Thankfully, we have not yet experienced a single incident on par with the Xinjiang apartment fire that killed 10 people, including three children. Even as Fauci slinks to the exit, the untold collective impact of his misguided policies will be felt for generations. People deserve to know if our government was following the lead of the CCP.

Fauci should not be allowed to ride off into the sunset without a proper accounting of his leadership (or lack thereof) during the pandemic — and the ensuing disastrous consequences for the practice of medicine and the American public. Let’s hope the new Congress holds Fauci’s feet to the fire.
